Gregory Phillips Architects is a design led team of architects who have been creating distinctive and iconic bespoke homes for over 30 years. We work on a number of scales, specialising in creating modern family homes alongside a team of trusted contractors, suppliers, consultants and fabricators many of whom we have worked with since the practice’s inception. 

Working within London, the home counties and beyond, the architects at the practice have all worked extensively within private residential design, and the success of the studio’s approach is reflected in a wide range of high-profile awards and publications. 

We provide the highest quality of living spaces tailored to our client’s requirements, while exploring all the opportunities that a modern house can provide. 

Each project is a story that reflects the dialogue and ideas shared by us and our clients and we strive to create spaces that are practical and comfortable, yet uncompromisingly modern. Houses that are iconic, but also functional homes with an understated luxury.

Our Approach

We carry this ethos through all the work we do, whether it be a refurbishment of a historic listed building, a traditional suburban home or a new build country house.

We try to make every project transformative – whether through careful intervention in existing buildings, or bolder architecture of new builds. We never lose sight of the fact that a home needs to work as one first and foremost.

When designing our projects, we take time to listen to the brief and consider the way our clients want to live.
