The budget for every project varies according to its size, complexity and scope.
Below is a guide to the typical construction values of projects we work on at GPA, all exclusive of VAT and design fees. These figures are approximate and should only be used as an indication of the extent of work we typically undertake.
As a guide, the budgets below generally include Interior Design, but exclude furniture, fittings and equipment (FF&E). Basements and swimming pools tend to increase build costs into the mid or upper ranges.

Large homes with front and rear gardens, usually on a suburban site.
£2m - £7m
Significant single homes with landscaped gardens and outbuildings.
£10m +
Private country or suburban estates.
Renovation & Extension
£750k - £2m
Extension + some work throughout the existing house.
£2m - £6m
Extension with significant renovation works throughout the property.
£5m +
Extension and transformation of high value homes.
Historic Homes
£1m - £2m
Extension with some upgrades throughout, together with renovation works to the existing fabric of the building.
£2m - £6m
Extension + significant renovation works to a large house.
£5m +
Extension and renovation of a house of historic importance, usually including outbuildings.
Developments
£750k - £1m
New build infill or replacement house in town or suburban setting.
£1m - £3m
Significant single home with gardens and outbuildings.
£3m+
Significant single home or multiple houses.
