Facade Extension Muswell Hill

Background

This dramatic 85 sqm glass façade extension in Muswell Hill has been completely integrated within the existing house, which was a Metropolitan style 1930’s home, to transform the overall layout and provide views of the garden through large sliding doors.

The Brief

The entire interior was remodelled with the addition of a Boffi kitchen, new bathrooms, a loft conversion and new electrical and heating/plumbing systems throughout.

Through attention to detail, proportion and scale, we designed a layout which complements and respects the character of the existing building.

Internally, the project was finished to an exemplary standard using bespoke finishes in every room, including dark stained oak and walnut timbers, bronze metal, marble and slate.

Outcomes

Gregory has been presented with a Best of Houzz 2022 UK London Wardrobe award for a perfect example of a dressing room with flat-panel cabinets, grey cabinets and light hardwood flooring. It is just one of the bespoke features installed during the beautifully designed Muswell Hill extension.

Gregory’s work is modern, elegant and comfortable to live with, using traditional materials such as stone, wood and leather a contemporary way with a high degree of craftsmanship.
