Founded more than 30 years ago, we are a multi award winning architecture studio specialising in prestigious contemporary residential design.

Established as one of the UK’s leading residential architects, we deliver the finest homes to the highest architectural quality with a carefully considered approach.

Gregory Phillips has carried out the interior design on many projects in Reading and the surrounding area; currently we are working on a 6000 sqft new build house in Caversham.

Our most noteworthy completed project to date is a multi-award winning new build home involving the demolition of an existing house to create a new-build contemporary 9000 sqft detached house set within a breath-taking 12-acre site adjacent to the River Thames. We were responsible for all of the architecture and interior design elements of the scheme.

The project has been published nationally and internationally and won awards including an RIBA award, The International Property Award for Best Interior Design, the International Design and Architecture Award for Best House in Europe, the Sunday Times Home Award for Architecture, The Sunday Times Home Award for Interior Design as well as awards for lighting design, bathroom design, audio/visual design and landscape design.

Located in Holborn at the heart of London’s midtown, we are on the doorstep of one of the world’s great cities. Culturally rich, everchanging and with a wealth of brilliant suppliers, craftsmen and consultants, our projects span the breadth of the UK and even internationally.

Gregory has led the studio and driven a focus on designing extrordinary homes for over three decades. His determination to continually be at the forefront of British design has resulted in a portfolio being internationally recognised in the architectural and interior design industry.

Our Process

Working with an architect on your home is a deeply personal journey and a relationship that can span multiple years. We not only understand this, but cherish a close partnership with our clients.

We consider ourself a safe pair of hands and have an unrivalled track record of delivering the most demanding projects. We feel comfortable navigating complex briefs,
planning processes and building to the highest standards.

Whilst our process is flexibile, for the majority of our homes, we are involved from concept to completion. Our team of architects have vast expierience and have all worked at the studio for many years.

The architect you meet at the beginning, will be with you for your entire project. This can prove invaluable.
